Abstract

Mud is a substance that is obtained from the right combination of water and clay. The excess water would turn it into mud, the excess clay would make its malleability impossible, hence the importance of the vital liquid to give birth to the dreams of those who with the sweet caress of their hands create the magic of turning into useful objects or objects. I ornament the result of the clash between hands and clay.

Heirs of a space, an oven and knowledge about the earth, water and fire, hard work and community, are our dear craftsmen of Metepec. Specialists for generations, for more than a century they have shaped not only decorative objects or handmade pieces, but also casseroles. This is how the day goes, from morning to night, with the earth in their hands.

The clay has a memory, and if I forget here my testimony to remember origins and destinations where we have to go ...
