Abstract

In this article we propose to problematize the generic-sexual division of the work that occurs in the self-managed companies -recovered- by their workers, in order to rethink the role of women in the recovery processes and the redefinition of their relationships in the construction of a self-managing model. The context of socialization of the traditional salary of the male and female workers is the same in which masculinity and femininity contents characteristic of the patriarchal society were constituted. This does not imply that in the companies recovered there are no modifications regarding this type of division of labor. However, they do not seem to develop without costs on the part of the workers involved, generating situations of tension, which in some cases constitute direct obstacles to the development of production. The present investigation has been carried out through the study of cases with a methodological approach of qualitative type. We selected two case studies located in the area of the Gran Rosario (Santa Fe, Argentina): a  recovered glassware company and a recovered dairy company which produces butter and cream.
