Transcription of the video-documentary interview on mining culture conducted in 2013 by Samantha Chaparro with colleague Juan Luis Sariego Rodriguez, one of the pioneers of the anthropology of labor in Mexico and a must-see reference for scholars and those interested in mining. The documentary "El señor de las minas" is based on a three-day field visit to different mines and minerals in Chihuahua made by Juan Luis with his daughter Yanuén, his student Raúl, son of miner José Martin Ramirez -a friend of Juan Luis- and Samantha in charge of the documentary,
